You are in the classroom alone since classes were already finished. You couldn't help the tears that are forming in your eyes. All that pain, you couldn't hold it anymore so you just cried you heart out. You and your boyfriend Arthur Kirkland are already over. You broke up earlier this afternoon.

Our hands usually touched at twilight
Your shadow was just a bit longer than mine
I used to walk along side you
When we walked back home

You remembered the days when you and Arthur were still together. After class, he'll pick you up and walk you to your house, a thing a proper gentleman should do. Talking happily while walking, well, you do mostly the talk and he just gives you a nod, an "ah" and a "yeah". You didn't mind it because you thought he's just tired. Being student council president is quite a handful.

Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow
I used to believe when I stretched out my hands

Every time you're walking home together, you always thought that if you stretched your hand, he'd stretch his hand also, taking yours. But that's just merely a fantasy.

"I guess I'm not enough… but…" as you thought about it, new batch of tears started forming in your eyes.

"Why… I've done everything I can… am I just not enough… Arthur…" you said thru tears. Everything fell apart. Before, he was always sweet and told you that he loves you every day but as time passes by, he became cold, cold as an ice. You always find a way to make him smile but none of those worked. All you wanted is to see that smile that belonged to you because of you again.

The water spilled already
You can't cry over spilled water
But whose tears are these?
Hey, why are you apologizing?
Why are you crying?

Things that were already done. Words that were already told. If only you could turn back time, maybe, just maybe, you and Arthur are still together. But that's life, what's done is done. Forgive and forget.

"I'll always forgive you Arthur even if it hurt me…" you wiped your eyes with the back of your hand to lessen the salty tears falling on your face "But the thing I cannot do is forget you… I love you so much…"

-FLASHBACK-
Arthur told you to meet him in the garden at your school after classes. You quickly made your way and waited for your boyfriend to arrive. After about 20 minutes, he arrived, a sad look on his face.

"(Name)," he started

"What's the matter Arthur?" you were starting to get worried now, that isn't just his usual self

"I have something to tell you…" your heart is beating so fast now, you are getting nervous

"W-what is it Arthur" you said, trying your best to hide your nervousness
"I think we should just be friends…" with those words, your heart broke into millions of pieces

"But why???" you asked, tears beginning to form at the rims of your eyes

"I still love her… it just couldn't work out, and you're a burden to me… I'm so sorry." He said as tears cascaded down his face

'Why is he crying? Shouldn't I be the one who's hurt? Why are you apologizing? I don't understand!' you thought to yourself as he walked away, leaving you alone there. You ran and ran, until you reached your classroom and that's where you cried your heart out.

Why aren't you saying 'Let's start again'?
What do you mean by "you're a burden"?
Is my love no enough?
Please don't abandon me...
Please don't leave…

You always knew from the start that he likes Sey*, but even so, you still tried your best to make him notice you. Maybe he noticed your feelings for him and one day he asked you out on which you gladly agreed. You thought that after asking you out, he'd forget about Sey, but now you know your thought was wrong. He still loves her, not you. Ending your relationship with him is the only proper thing he could do and he doesn't want to hurt you anymore.  Beep… Beep your phone rang and you saw you have two unread messages which both came from Arthur.

Forgive me!

The first one said,
"I'm sorry"
And the second one said,
""Thank you"

After reading those two messages tears started to occupy your eyes again, freely falling down your face. You know the 'sorry' means "sorry for not loving you the way you love me" and the 'thank you' means "thank you for loving me", you always knew it from the start and you just couldn't accept the fact that he doesn't love you.
